BOARDMAN, Ohio (Feb. 2, 2022) — Buckeye Dealership Consulting, LLC. (Buckeye), a leading provider of reinsurance and F&I products, dealer education and performance groups for automobile dealers, has announced it will expand its popular and quickly growing Dealer Performance Groups (DPG) to include a variety of dealership consulting and staff training services.
Rob Fox, Buckeye’s CEO, said the addition of these services is the fulfillment of his vision for Buckeye to be a full-service dealership consulting company. It also comes as a direct response to frequent requests from existing and new clients, as well as non-client dealers looking for assistance.
“While we have always provided best-in-class consulting services to help dealers maximize their reinsurance programs, they have repeatedly asked us for more,” Fox said. “These additional services will expand our offerings beyond reinsurance and F&I to include all aspects of dealership operations.”
Consulting services can be customized to the needs of the individual dealer and include such things as business practice reviews, staff performance reviews, policy and procedure analyses, portfolio review and analyses, strategic planning, and training staff in any department. Services are fee-based and can be contracted per diem or per project.
Shaun Petersen, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Buckeye’s automotive group, said the DPG consultants, led by Chuck Bonanno and David Brotherton, will help dealers identify areas for improvement.
“If it occurs at the dealership, we have personnel on our team with the knowledge and expertise to offer suggestions and solutions that will improve operational efficiencies and, ultimately, dealership profitability,” Petersen said.
The rollout of these additional consulting services follows the successful launch of Buckeye’s DPGs in September 2021. The DPG program is open to any dealer looking to leverage the experience of fellow dealers in improving their operations. DPG members are organized in small groups of a dozen or more dealerships. Group members meet regularly to receive training, share best ideas, best practices, financial data, and experiences to help each group member realize their individual goals.
